  • Dominic to ask Mandy for clarification on billing guidelines for conversations with paralegals, especially regarding when such time is billable
  • Dominic to enter all time in Clio daily, aiming to account for close to 8 hours each day, and review phone logs to capture any uncategorized time
  • Dominic to set alarms (e.g., at 11 am and 2 pm) as reminders to check time tracking throughout the day
  • Dominic to maintain a running draft email to Lexlee and Breckenridge listing any time entries where billing is uncertain, to be sent at the end of the week for review.
  • Dominic, during the upcoming 60-day review, discuss with Breckenridge and Mandy how flat rate time is credited toward billable hour goals
  • Clay to send Breckenridge an email asking how to track time spent prepping and researching for sales consultations (e.g., whether it should be "no bill sales" or another category)
  • Breckenridge to visit the chamber venue again to investigate if laptop mirroring/screen sharing is possible and clarify IT/logistical requirements for presentations; coordinate with Lexlee on specific needs
  • Breckenridge to create a new admin time category (e.g., "admin prep consult") for tracking legal research/prep time separate from consults, and confirm the name of the new category in an email to Lexlee and Clay
  • Breckenridge to regenerate and send the missing Laura report for the week ending on the 28th to Lexlee
  • Breckenridge to include a link to Lexlee's training dashboard in the custom executive dashboard being built

Mind Over Law Team:

  • Discuss with Breckenridge about how to track and potentially categorize prep/research time for sales consultations, and follow up with Clay via email after the discussion
  • Discuss with Breckenridge whether strategy planning/meetings between attorneys should be considered billable, and follow up with Clay (and potentially Mandy) regarding this issue
  • Bring a projector to the chamber event as a backup for presentation setup
  • Send an email to Clay (copying Breckenridge) confirming that mentoring/training time should be tracked as admin training time, and that a new category will be created for legal research/prep for consultations
  • Meet with Dominic to review his time tracking, ensure all time is being tracked, and clarify what should be billed as admin vs. billable; coordinate with Mandy if needed to review specific entries.
